Partnerstvo za okolje in zdravje 3.0 (Partnership for Environment and Health 3.0) builds upon the achievements of the POZ 2017–2019 and POZ 2.0 projects and is focused on further raising awareness among young people about environmental and health issues. The aim is to promote a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of these two areas and to encourage active participation in project activities.
The POZ 3.0 project is also financially supported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia, as part of its ongoing programmes for the protection and promotion of health until 2025. By 2025, the Partnership seeks to enhance its non-formal education initiatives among children and young people , while fostering their participation in addressing environmental and health issues. This will involve addressing a range of environmental and health issues, such as adapting to climate change, enhancing the quality and usability of green spaces, and reducing the impact of urban heat islands and heat waves.
Project duration: From 2023 to 2025
Project partners: Institute for Health and Environment, Focus, društvo za sonaraven razvoj, Mladinsko združenje za trajnostni razvoj and Medicinska fakulteta Univerze v Ljubljani.
