The Environer project is an international initiative under the Erasmus+ programme, bringing together organizations from Hungary, Slovenia and Georgia to strengthen the role of youth workers in climate change and sustainability education. The project responds to the challenges of the digital transformation of youth work and the growing need for innovative methods to engage young people with environmental issues.
Environer strengthens the digital literacy of youth workers and introduces modern tools such as the En-ROADS climate simulator into non-formal education. The aim is to empower youth workers to create engaging learning experiences through interactive methods, gamification and simulations, while also helping young people cope with climate anxiety.
Environer brings a fresh approach to youth work by combining digital tools, gamification, international collaboration and sustainability values. Through the project, youth organizations can strengthen the quality, innovation and inclusiveness of their work – key elements in shaping a future in which young people play an active role.
